It's all in the base
Paving is 70% what you don't see: excavation, compacted basecourse, sand screed and drainage falls. Skip that prep and pavers sink and rock within a year. We compact in layers and set falls away from the house, so water goes where it should and the surface stays true.
Paving options
- Concrete & masonry pavers — huge range of colours and formats, great value.
- Natural stone — bluestone, sandstone and schist for a premium finish.
- Exposed aggregate & concrete — seamless, durable surfaces for driveways and patios.
- Paths & edging — garden paths, stepping stones and clean edging that ties the landscaping together.
Patios, courtyards and outdoor living
We design paved areas around how you'll actually use them — the afternoon sun, the BBQ spot, the route from the kitchen. Combined with a deck, planting or a pergola, a paved courtyard adds genuine living space to your home.
Paving FAQs
How long does a paved patio take?
Most patios take 3–7 working days including excavation, base prep and laying, depending on size and access.
Do pavers get weeds between them?
We finish joints with polymeric sand or mortar, which locks out most weed growth. It's a small upgrade that saves years of scraping.
Can you match existing paving?
Usually, yes — we'll source the closest match to your existing pavers or suggest a deliberate contrast that looks intentional.
